Power Mags are lean and sleek, yet they are extra-heavy-duty with increased reliability and service life.
A unique all-steel follower design yields the lowest possible bearing surface for long-lasting function in dirty environments when ongoing cleaning and maintenance may not be possible.
The unique follower design also functions as a spring, which allows the Rocket wire spring coils to be the largest (side to side, front to back, and top to bottom) of any extra capacity .45 caliber 1911 mags. For Compact 1911 "Officer's Model" size frames.
Notes:
- “Compact" denotes a smaller frame, such as most Officer's length 4.0 inch 1911 pistols.
- Compact grips have a measurement of 2.6875" from center to center between the grip screws.
- These pistols will use compact magazines and compact grips.

"I tested this with my Colt New Agent and American Gunner 185 xtp hollow points. Locks in place easily. The stop on the front on the magazine prevents you from breaking your ejector from over insertion. The extra round does make it longer of course, but it's up to the consumer to see if they like that or not. Springs are strong, but no problems loading the magazine. I have used chip McCormick brand in the past and have never been disappointed. I have put about 200 rounds through these mags so far and no problems. A nice touch is each witness hole is marked with the round count. I will order more."
