The Hornady Case Activated Powder Drop is designed to work with the Hornady Lock-N-Load AP press as well as other progressive presses.
The powder drop automatically dispenses a powder charge only when a case is present.
The activator fits powder measures with standard 7/8"-14 threaded dies.
Notes:

Using it on one of my 1983 Dillon RL450 presses to replace the factory powder drop that hated fine ball powder (kept binding up with the fine powder seeping around the powder slide). For those wondering if this will work with an RCBS Uniflow powder measure? Short answer: ABSOLUTELY. A perfect fit, and final adjustment of linkage positions are identical to a friend's Hornady powder measure with the Case Activated Powder Drop. I read far and wide about folks trying the RCBS-Hornady marriage and found a lot of conflicting information. I have no idea why the descriptions do not include the RCBS Uniflow compatibility. A missed opportunity for additional sales in my opinion."
