RCBS bullet lubes eliminate leading and improve the accuracy of cast bullets.
The Rifle Lube is a traditional Alox formula consisting of 50% Alox and 50% Beeswax.
These hollow sticks measure 1" x 4" and have a melting point of 115 degrees Fahrenheit.
A lube heater is recommended for best results.
Features: Works with bench mounted lubri-sizers that accept 1" x 4" lube sticks.

"I'm using this lube to smear on top of my .30 cal pigeon loads. Using a fired piece 308 brass unsized but cleaned I chamfer and debur the mouth so it's a little sharper, prime it, put 2 grains of tight group in the case then seat a single 0 buck shot ball ( .322 ) in diameter and it'll shave a ring of lead off at the mouth of the case. I use Hornady bulk buck shot purchased here at Midway, it's hardened and doesn't lead the barrel much if any especially when using Lyman Orange lube. After seating till just a little is above the case mouth I then smear a little orange lube at the mouth and it's ready to go. These loads will travel at about 800 to 900 fps and weight about 47 grains of lead ball. They'll pop the heads off of pigeons at 50 or so yards but won't punch barn tin at that distance on roofs. Powerful enough to at straight on. Great squirrel load also. Be fully aware these loads can hurt or kill a person up close. Treat them with respect. Also caution to insure that they work in your firearm as they could stick a piece of lead in your barrel if not paying attention to loads. Always test and check before shooting another one. These loads work in most 30 cal using the appropriate brass for the rifle, . 303 .30-30, .308, .30-06 and so on. Tight group is fast and not position sensitive powder."
"I use RCBS rifle bullet lube for all my cast bullet calibers, from .357 Magnum, .45-70, to .30-06, and others. I have never had a leading issue with this lube. I use it in an RCBS luber/sizer and as long as the luber/sizer is kept indoors I have not needed to use a heater to warm the lube. I keep the luber/sizer inside the house because in summer the heat in the garage will melt the lube."
