The Pro Series Die Set includes the NxGEN carbide sizing die (NX-C), a special seating die (PRO-ST) with a large entry radius and no crimping ability and a separate crimping die (may be either a Taper Crimp or Profile Crimp).
The Pro Series Die Set (designed for progressive machines) includes the NxGen carbide sizing die (NX-C) but does not include an expander die (EXP) because most popular progressive machines expand the case mouth at the powder drop station.
A special seating die (PRO ST) is supplied with a large entry radius but does not provide bullet crimping ability.
This set is also supplied with a specialized bullet crimping die (CR).
Although designed specifically for progressive reloading, Pro Series die sets also work exceptionally well with single stage presses if an expander die is purchased separately.
The Redding NxGen Pro Series Carbide 3-Die Set is designed for use in progressive presses.
Set includes Carbide Sizing/Decapping Die, Bullet Seating Die (designed for bullet seating only - no crimping feature) and a Profile Crimp Die (For cartridges that headspace on the case mouth, a taper crimp die is substituted).
All dies in the set have a special large radius at the mouth for easy case entry, a necessary feature for progressive machines.
Shellholder sold separately.
Carbide dies require no case sizing lubricant.
