"I purchased this MSH as an upgrade from my stock, flat housing. When it arrived, I began to swap out the internal parts, but discovered that my stock mainspring would not fall into the housing Wilson warns that minor fitting may be needed. Fortunately I had purchased a Custom Tune Spring Kit from WC last year, only I didnt replace the mainspring. Once located, I tried it out, and it dropped in without issue! After reassembly, I marveled at how amazing it felt in my hands, and it looked great on my 1911. I cant comment on MSHs from other companies, but I can vouch for the quality and fit of this one.
