The Tactical Adjustable Battlesight is an invaluable accessory for 1911 owners, providing them with effortless elevation adjustment capabilities.
It takes the form of a slim and low-profile sight that slots into Wilson Combat's standard dovetail on your pistol and stays securely in place thanks to two formidable set screws.
For more precise fine-tuning, its steel blade pivots upon a tough slotted screw which can be adjusted without any hassle - just click it away until you achieve the desired point of impact!
Crafted from robust billet steel and black parkerized for rust protection, the Tactical Adjustable Battlesight is built to endure whatever you throw at it - whether that be normal wear-and-tear or intense competition.
The Wilson Battlesight design ensures a secure sight picture with its serrated rear blade, low glare elements and U-notch sighting aperture of .140” deep and .160” wide for rapid shooting accuracy even in not-so-ideal lighting conditions.
Positioned on the rear, a shelf provides easy emergency slide manipulation with just one hand. Windage is adjusted by shifting it like any traditional fixed sight.
- Black parkerized, hardened carbon steel for a lifetime of use
- Serrated 40 LPI for a non-glare surface in the brightest outdoor range conditions
- Dual set screws for a final rock solid attachment
- Ideal sight picture for poorly lit shooting conditions, dynamic shooting situations or for those with aging eyesight
- One click = (3/4” for compact) (5/8” for full size) at 25 yards
- Turn elevation screw clockwise to move rear sight and point of impact UP, counterclockwise for DOWN
- .160" wide and deeper U-notch for improved precision without a loss in speed under dynamic shooting conditions
- Pyramid shaped rear occludes less of the target while shooting
- External shelf enables easy one-hand cycling or malfunction clearance
- All edges radiused for smooth, comfortable gun-handling
- Minor fitting required when used on any slide already cut for a 65° x.495" dovetail (Wilson 463/Novak Low Mount)
NOTE:
hex "screws" seen at the side are simply covers protecting and locking the main pin; they do not have to be removed.
NOTE:
This Wilson Combat 1911 part will require fitting for optimal function.
We STRONGLY RECOMMEND that all modifications needed for this part be installed by a professional gunsmith.
Self-installation is NOT recommended and could potentially cause damage to the firearm or yourself.
5 STAR REVIEWS:
"I bought one of these to allow me to dial my Dan Wesson Razorback in for precise hits when hunting. It's a beautifully made piece and fit the "Novak" style rear sight cut on my pistol like it was made to go there. I will buy another for my Springfield Mil Spec that I'm building up."
"I put one on a trp that was shooting high. Took me approximately 15 minutes to replace. Adjusted perfectly, holds adjustment. Typical Wilson Combat quality"
"I just finished installing the TAB on my Springfield Commander 1911, and was extremely impressed with the machining and finish of this sight. It installed smoothly without any filing or modification. I was totally impressed with that. Cudos to Wilson Combat quality products and precision machining."
