The sights use a proprietary photoluminescent Glow Dot that absorbs ambient light and glows in low light.
The convex dot's additional surface area increases light absorption, intensifying the charge of the Glow Dot.
Designed to be large and highly visible, these sights help solve many issues, from aging eyes to deteriorating vision.
We've found that the orange front tends to be most visible in daylight settings and that yellow glows brighter in low light, while white is an excellent option for bright or low light because of it's refletive properties.

"I keep an old Mossberg 500A with an 18.5 inch barrel by the bed for home defense. It's a great shotgun, but the bead visibility in low-light conditions left a lot to be desired, and slug shots at short ranges were always high. First, I installed the bead supplied to replace the OEM bead, then put a little JB weld to fill in the back of the Big Dot hole that matches up with the new bead installed, straighten out sight and remove excess glue with rubbing alcohol and Q-tip, done! Really is bright and gives you a great sight reference with the PDW Mossberg Shockwaves."
