This rail has 40 MOA of built-in elevation. It is intended for shooters who need substantial additional scope adjustment for long-range and extreme long-range rimfire shooting.
Before choosing a 40 MOA base, make sure your optic has sufficient internal adjustment to establish your desired close-range zero.
The EGW HD CZ 457 40 MOA Picatinny Rail gives CZ 457 shooters a heavy-duty one-piece optic mounting platform designed for precision rimfire and extended-range applications.
Machined from solid 7075-T6 aluminum, the HD rail provides a rigid mounting platform while maintaining the weight advantages of aluminum.
The rail is finished with Black Type III Hardcoat Anodizing for additional surface hardness and durability.
The mount interfaces with the factory 11mm dovetail on the CZ 457 receiver and provides a full-length Picatinny mounting surface for greater flexibility when positioning your scope rings.
This version incorporates 40 MOA of built-in cant, preserving significantly more of the scope's available elevation adjustment for shooters pushing .22 LR and other CZ 457 configurations to extended distances.

This HD rail is designed specifically around the CZ 457 receiver and its factory 11mm dovetail.
Rather than mounting scope rings directly to the factory dovetail, the EGW rail provides a continuous Picatinny mounting surface.
This gives you considerably more flexibility when selecting and positioning scope rings for proper eye relief.
The rail is designed for the CZ 457 platform and should not be assumed to fit CZ 452, 453, 455, or other CZ receivers.
Installation:
Confirm that you have the correct CZ 457 rail and the correct handed configuration before beginning installation.
Clean the mating surfaces and mounting hardware before installing the rail.
EGW currently recommends applying a small amount of blue threadlocker to the mounting screws and tightening them to 20 in-lbs.
The required #6-32 x 3/4" SHC mounting screws and T-10 bit are included.
After installation, verify that the rail is fully seated and secure before installing and zeroing the optic.
