Depending on hand size and grip position, a standard magazine release can require the shooter to rotate the pistol slightly in the hand to reach the release comfortably.
The Tombstone paddle extends the usable release surface toward the shooter's hand, making the magazine release easier to reach while maintaining a more consistent grip.
This makes the paddle well suited to competition, range, and custom pistol builds where fast, consistent access to the magazine release is important.
This version of the Tombstone paddle features a serrated face.
The machined serrations provide additional texture for the thumb, giving the shooter a positive contact surface when pressing the magazine release.
For shooters who prefer a different contact surface, EGW also offers other magazine release paddle configurations.
The Tombstone paddle is machined from aluminum, providing a rigid extended release surface without adding unnecessary weight to the pistol.
The lightweight construction makes it well suited for competition and performance-oriented builds where additional release surface is desired without adding a heavy control to the pistol.
The Tombstone paddle attaches to the face of a compatible magazine catch using the included 4-40 paddle screw.
The magazine catch must be drilled and tapped 4-40 before the paddle can be installed.
The included paddle screw uses a T-10 Torx drive for installation.
