"First, let me describe why I ordered this Wilson Combat rear sight. The old Ruger rear sight on my GP100 got the job done, but its thin blade was loose and easily snagged on holsters and clothing. Adjustment was fiddly. I also had a hard time quickly getting sight acquisition through the factory square notch (maybe my middle-aged eyes didn’t help either). This Wilson Combat rear sight, corrected all these problems! It is very solid and seems to be of very high quality. It doesn’t snag. The adjustment screws don’t require tiny screwdrivers, and they have positive “click” adjustments. The U-shaped notch is perfect for the round dot on my aftermarket fiber optic front sight. Sight acquisition is intuitive and fast. Installation was straightforward, but I did need to carefully use a gunsmith punch and hammer to remove and reset the pin that secures the rear sight to the frame. The WC sight was a bit pricey, but I don’t regret the purchase—it’s worth the money."
