Sold for people with small or compromised hands that need the extra grasping surface, not aspiring Quick Draw McGraws. It serves my need perfectly, having diminished capacity in both hands. Makes it possible to field strip w no tools whereas without it, it was incredibly difficult. I see no downside, but of course, I read the label and followed the guidance provided.
