"Installed on a Springfield Armory 1911A1 9MM Loaded Target model. I had trouble with a factory magazine not locking back when it was empty. This replacement was what it needed. Compared to the factory slide stop, it had a slightly different profile. I have read SA uses a slide stop for the 45ACP for some reason. I would believe that because in the gun case they also included a 45ACP barrel brush for a 9MM? Kind of useless. This Wilson Combat slide stop was a drop in fit, no sanding or polishing required. The finish is close to the factory matte stainless finish. Locks back all magazines now."
